Our Mission
Beyond the Sunset Initiative, Inc. was founded in loving memory of John Connor Langley — a young man whose light touched everyone around him. In his honor, we provide scholarships to high school seniors who carry that same spirit of promise and possibility.
We believe that education is one of the most enduring ways to keep a legacy alive. Each scholarship we award carries John's name forward, investing in the futures of students who reflect the values he embodied: curiosity, kindness, and determination.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we are sustained entirely by the generosity of those who believe in honoring a life by lifting others.
